DUODECIMA HORA AEDIFICARE proudly presents its first long play album since 2013 "The Prime Move", now out of print.

"TERRA CADAVERICA shows Duodecima Hora Aedificare braving new territories, both ethical and aesthetic, in a harsh yet melancholic meditation about the main worries of human life - love, death and the absurd fact of existing.

"SORIEHLAM refuses any attempt to, as if that were possible, embellish his sound - the decision of, e.g., master the album in mono lo-fi quality stems from this approach. But still a strange grace emerges here and there, in tracks as the jarring 'Lullaby', the rough 'I Can't Breathe' or the lyrical 'Embrace Me Oh Dearest of All Flesh'. Like lotuses in the mud, or the pretty face of some victim of murder.

"This combination of ugliness and beauty is what constitutes the conceptual foundation of Duodecima Hora Aedificare. It is as if the human condition were something not only to be lamented, but also to be aesthetically and poetically experienced until the bitter end. With 'Terra Cadaverica' SORIEHLAM doesn't try to give answers to - or even question - life, the world, or beyond. He just stares at all this, perplexed, lonesome... and longing... but longing for what?"
